What's new in KeepCert

Every shipped feature, fix, and improvement. Updated weekly.

New

AI Compliance Briefing

Get a 30-second morning summary of what's expiring this week, who's blocked, and what needs your attention. The briefing surfaces in your dashboard and emails to whoever you choose.

  • Auto-generated daily at 7am in your local time zone
  • Highlights credentials expiring in the next 14 days
  • Calls out blocked dispatches and unsigned change orders
Pro tip: Add the briefing to your morning email digest by going to Settings → Notifications.
Improved

Faster COI uploads, smarter parsing

Document scanning now extracts policy numbers, expiration dates, and additional insureds 3x faster. Multi-page PDFs upload in parallel and surface errors per-page instead of failing the whole batch.

New

Project-scoped photo capture on mobile

The camera button on the project page now tags every photo to the project automatically. No more digging through camera rolls. Works offline, syncs when you reconnect.

Available in iOS 1.4 and Android 1.4. Update from your app store.
Fixed

Expiration alerts respect time zones

Reminders were firing at midnight UTC instead of midnight in your local time. Fixed across email, push, and in-app notifications.

Improved

Subcontractor invitation flow

Subs can now upload their W-9, COI, and licenses without creating a KeepCert account. Send a secure link, they upload, you approve. Account creation is optional and only required if they want to manage their own profile.

New

Public verification links

Share a clean, branded link with property managers, GCs, or inspectors that proves your team's compliance status without exposing your internal dashboard. Set expiration dates per link, revoke any time.

Fixed

PDF previews load again on Safari 17

Apple's PDF rendering changes broke our inline preview on Safari 17. Updated the worker so previews load instantly across all desktop browsers.

Improved

Bulk credential import from CSV

You can now import credentials, expiration dates, and assignees from a single CSV. The importer maps columns automatically and flags conflicts before committing.

New

Custom alert windows per credential type

Set 30/15/7/1 day alerts at the credential type level instead of per-row. Defaults stay sensible. Override only the ones that matter.

Fixed

Edge cases in W-9 expiration logic

W-9 forms don't technically expire, but a few customers wanted them flagged annually for re-collection. Added a configurable annual flag in vendor settings.

New

Vendor compliance grading

Each vendor now gets a green/amber/red status pill on the vendor list based on COI, W-9, and license freshness. Click any vendor to see exactly what's missing.

  • Green: all required docs current and 30+ days from expiration
  • Amber: anything expiring inside 30 days
  • Red: anything expired or missing
New

QuickBooks Online integration

Sync vendor records, W-9s, and 1099 totals between KeepCert and QuickBooks Online. One-way sync to start. Two-way coming this summer.

That's everything we've shipped publicly.
